Bonnie Osborne Retrospective
Exhibit July-August 2024
Reception - July 20, 1-3 p.m.
We are honored to present a legacy collection of Bonnie Osborne's beautiful artwork in our gallery Showroom through the month of July. Bonnie's work will be available for purchase during this time. Bonnie was a graphic artist, who had a passion for working with pastels depicting scenes in nature from Michigan and her many travels. She was a founding member of our gallery and a dear friend for over 10 years. We miss her and her ever present smile.
A bit about Bonnie...she liked to poke around in the woods, to observe and feel nature. She enjoyed painting out in nature and found it refreshing hear the songs of birds, frogs, insects, water, and wind.
Bonnie often used her outdoor pastel paintings as studies for larger paintings. The smaller studies record values, light, and mood of the scene.
Bonnie was an illustrator and graphic designer. She used pastels to create color filled landscape paintings. She also utilized many different media along with computer graphics to create high-quality images rich in color and intensity. She was President of the Great Lakes Pastel Society, was a member of the Lowell Arts Council, and Grand Valley Artists.
CONSTRUCTION NOTE: Main Street (M-21) construction in front of the gallery starts July 15 for approximately 1 month. Access to the gallery and the parking lot behind our building will remain available!
