We invite you to create postcard-sized works of art for our third annual Postcard Art Display & Sale. All accepted artwork will be on display at Flat River Gallery & Framing April 14 – May 7, 2025. All postcard-sized artwork will be priced at $30 each, with a 50/50 split between the artist and the Gallery. No entry fee. All sales will be made during the Off-the-Wall Sale, May 7, 7-8 p.m.

 

Who is eligible: Artists ages 18 and up of all skill levels.

 

What you can submit:

• Artists may enter a maximum of FIVE (5) postcards.

• Cards must measure 4”x 6” and be on heavy stock paper, rigid backing, photo paper, or other similar material. We can handle wood, glass, and ceramics too, but you must attach a secure hanging device to these heavier pieces. Works on paper do not require hangers.

• Artwork must be original.

• Acceptable media includes but is not limited to watercolor, acrylic, oil, collage, photography, fiber, wood, glass, etc.

• Artwork must not contain overt controversial, religious, or political reference, images of or suggesting violence, nudity, or profane or vulgar language in content or design. Artwork may not be advertisements for businesses or artists.

• Must have your name and title of work on the back of each entry. Print legibly.

• Must be submitted in an envelope or box with your name, phone number and email address on it. Your completed ENTRY FORM must be enclosed. 

• We reserve the right to decline artwork for the exhibition. Receipt of artwork by the gallery does not confirm acceptance into the exhibition.

 

Entries accepted February 18 – March 31, 2026 at the gallery. May be dropped off or mailed.

Attend the Reception and Off-the-Wall Sale on Thursday, May 7 starting at 6pm.

The Off-the-Wall Sale starts May 7 at 7 p.m.

 

Pick up your unsold artwork by 6 p.m. on May 14.

You may pick up any unsold artwork at the end of the reception through 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 14. You may designate someone else to pick it up. We will not mail any unsold artwork. Any artwork left in the gallery after May 14 will become the property of Flat River Gallery & Framing.
